Charlotte Curley

Originally from Mullingar, County Westmeath, Charlotte left to attend secondary school in Loreto College, Stephen's Green, Dublin. Her love of art led her to regular visits at museums and the National Gallery where she admired work by Jack B. Yeats and Louis Le Brocquy. Charlotte now works as a radiographer and has studied Art and Art History for many years. She has attended numerous night classes in order to develop her technique and has been with the Paint Box Studio in Galway for the last four years. Having explored subjects through various different media - drawing, watercolour and acrylic for the last number of years she now concentrates mainly on oils.
With strong interests in travel, photography, reading and writing Charlotte finds inspiration from the impressionists and post impressionist painters, especially Van Gogh, with emphasis on strong vibrant colours in her own work.
