Eimear Nic Cába
Eimear grew up with art. She started painting
stage theatre sets and murals from an early age and with occasional
requests from farmers to paint their dogs or cows, Eimear headed to
Father Griffith College Portfolio Course, Galway. From there, on to the
National College of Art and Design (NCAD), finally finishing her formal
education at North Strand Technical Institute, Dublin, in 2004. Eimear
has been teaching Ceramics, Woodwork, Music Appreciation and has been
involved in Community Arts projects based in Ballymun and Inner City
Dublin. She sketches, paints or sculpts cityscapes, figures, portraits
and still life. Her work is realistic bordering on abstract.
