Peter John McCarthy

Born in London, England, Peter John McCarthy now lives in Meath.

Even though my occupation was largely in construction he always had an admiration and interest
in art and would regularly paint and draw in his spare time. He was at this stage largely self taught.

As a result of a life changing accident in 1994, Peter decided to pursue his interest in art further.

He took part in a number of art classes including 2 years of night classes in stained glass
at NCAD. He has, since then, worked on many stained glass commissions including his current
project involving designing and making eighteen windows for an oratory in Birr, Co. Offaly.

Peter has also given classes in stained glass & mosaics.
